INFINITY introduces the ORP+ series, an advanced online ORP controller equipped with a high-quality ORP sensor and a T-type housing for precise real-time readings. The ORP sensor comes with a ¾” female-threaded installation fitting and should be mounted vertically in the sampling line. It is designed for non-pressurized applications and must be connected using flexible tubing. Chlorine and ozone are the most commonly used disinfectants in water and wastewater treatment. Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) is a crucial parameter for monitoring REDOX reactions and serves as the only practical electronic method for measuring disinfectant effectiveness. The ORP sensor consists of two electrodes: a reference electrode and a measuring electrode. These electrodes are enclosed in glass tubing and immersed in the liquid being monitored. The sensor detects the ORP level and transmits the signal to the controller. The ORP+ controller processes sensor data and displays real-time ORP values. It also regulates ORP levels by sending control signals to dosing pumps, alarms, and valves via inbuilt relays, ensuring accurate, efficient, and automated ORP monitoring for optimal water treatment.
